2> Positioning principle
1) Based on the principle of two rear setting gauges, and the workpiece shape positioning.
2) When a rear setting gauge is positioned, pay attention to deflection, and it is required to be online at the same center as the bending size of the workpiece.
3) In case of small bending, the reverse position processing is preferred.
4) It is better to stay behind the middle of the gauge. (the rear setting gauge is not easy to tilt up when leaning)
5) It is better to be close to the rear setting gauge at the positioning edge.
6) The long side is preferred.
7) Auxiliary positioning with fixture (irregular positioning with beveled edge).


3> Precautions
Pay attention to the positioning mode during machining and the movement mode of the rear gauge in various positioning processing modes. When the die is being assembled, it shall be bent, and the rear setting gauge shall be pulled back to prevent the workpiece from deformation during bending. When a large workpiece is internally bent, because the workpiece shape is large and the bending area is small, it is difficult for the tool and the bending area to coincide, resulting in difficult positioning of the workpiece or damage to the bending workpiece. In order to avoid the above situations, a positioning point can be added in the longitudinal direction of the processing, so that the processing can be positioned in two directions, which makes the processing and positioning convenient, improves the processing safety, avoids workpiece damage, and improves the production efficiency.
